I have a CorelDraw.cdr file and I would like to import it in Gimp. Certainly the linux Inkscape version opens (at least some).cdr vector files (1).

It uses sK1 engine to convert one format to another The.deb package that is on the site is for Ubuntu 7-ish so perhaps there is a package in the ubuntu repository. Maybe the ubuntu7 package will work, its not a complicated app and does not have much in the way of dependencies.
